Tunes Tuesday (Because I Didn't Do Music Monday hohohohoho)
Due to unforeseeable circumstances (me actually having some sort of social life) I didn't get around to doing a Music Monday. But fret not my little kittens, for I will make up for it with a Tunes Tuesday. Which will hopefully not become a reoccurring feature here on IAS.
This, my friends, is alt-j (∆). They are a band. They are a great band. I first discovered them when I was roaming on vimeo due to my interest in film and animation. I stumbled upon this video...
I was immediately in love. The music video was so inventive and the song was just so strange and beautiful. Breezeblocks has since been featured in a video I produced for Project Second Chances (see my about me for a little explanation on that) as well as many long car rides. I just can't get sick of it. Alt-j is just very dark electronic/ indie pop/ alternative GOODNESS. I have recommended them to every single person who would listen to my blabber and everyone has loved them. This is a sign. From the flying spaghetti monster (it's a real religion, google it). Check them OUT.
Now, I must go forth and study profusely for a test I have tomorrow. Oh the summer school woes. I will see y'all soon!
Until next time, A

Music Monday: The Yugos
Hey guys! So I sort of did a Music Monday feature when I started this blog a week or so ago. But I did not officially dub it "Music Monday" (plus, I don't think it was a Monday...) However, I'm going to have a new feature on It's Always Sunny where I share one of my favorite bands or songs. Every Monday, for your ear enjoyment. So here we go!
One band that I cannot get enough of is The Yugos. Now, one can just say that and essentially be lying. HOWEVER. I will have you all know that I have only bought maybe 3 CDs in my time (one of them being Hillary Duff, thank you) and The Yugos self titled album was one of them. Everything on this album is perfect to put into heavy rotation in your summer playlists. You can download Break the Rules for free on their bandcamp, or the whole album for only $8. Which is cheap for the KOALA-TEA of these tunes. So definitely check them out (Bandcamp or Facebook or Myspace). They are amazing.
That is all for today, guys. It's about time I get to studying. Thank goodness for Kamehameha day because I was really not into the whole idea of getting up at 6 this morning. But anyways, have a great Monday!
Until next time,
A

So I Guess It's Summer
It's that time, ladies and gentle dudes. Time to clean out your iTunes and pick a good few songs to tote with you to the beach. Or if you're like me, songs to blast on the computer as you watch Criminal Minds with no pants on. The beach is overrated, hm?
Here are several songs that I enjoy while getting my one to two hour serial killer fix (as in, Criminal Minds. I do not kill people. Trust me on that one.) Which will be dramatically cut in half thanks to summer school beginning to ruin my life (and sleep schedule) in two days. Enjoy!
Until next time,
A
